Glistening under a thick blanket of snow, winter in Yellowstone is a magical season teeming in wildlife without the usual tourist crowds. Under a sapphire sky the region's 10,000 hydrothermal features provide an eerie contrast to an icy landscape. There isn't a safer more comfortable way to explore the many wonders this Park has to offer than by snowmobile. Our tour begins in the town of Jackson where guests are fitted with warm, insulated snow suits, gloves, boots and helmets before departing by van to the south entrance of Yellowstone. Following a safety orientation, we are off on the wide, groomed roads of the Park. We stop for lunch at Old Faithful then continue along the banks of the Madison River where we pause to observe the numerous herds of wild bison which winter in this area. The first evening we exit the Park at the west entrance to spend the night at the Stagecoach Inn in West Yellowstone, Montana. The Stagecoach is a historic hotel located at the center of all activities in West Yellowstone. The tastefully appointed rooms and superb restaurant make for a wonderful place to relax and reminisce about your first day in Yellowstone. We start day two with a visit to the Grizzly Discovery Center in West Yellowstone. Because the bears are fed all winter they do not hibernate so you can enjoy watching them. In addition to the Grizzly Bears the Center also contains numerous wolves that are active and visible to the visitor. After reentering the Park we head north past the steaming geysers of Norris Basin and the Gibbon River to our night's lodging in Gardiner, Montana. Before arriving in Gardiner we have ample time to enjoy the Park Service interpretive displays and thermal area at Mammoth Hot Springs. Gardiner is a small Montana town where western hospitality is a priority. Day three begins with the frozen waterfalls of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, big game observation and glorious high country scenery. Today we travel through the Hayden Valley, which many consider to be a highlight of their tour. Along the way the photo opportunities are endless. We ride along the shores of Yellowstone Lake returning to the south entrance of the Park. A van ride through Grand Teton National Park brings you to Jackson and the end of your adventure. These tours leave on specific dates from Jackson, WY. Group size is limited so early reservations are recommended. Price includes snowmobiles, meals, lodging and transportation to and from Jackson. This tour offers three days of snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park and is the perfect tour for individuals with limited time who still want to see all the major natural attractions the Park has to offer. The first night is spent in West Yellowstone with the second night at Gardiner, Montana. This tour allows you plenty of time to stop and view the wildlife and enjoy the magnificent geysers, waterfalls, hot pools and scenic vistas the Park is famous for. Tours leave on specific dates from Jackson. Price includes all meals, lodging, clothing, and transportation to and from Jackson while on the tour.

This is the snowmobile adventure for the snowmobile enthusiast. The Continental Divide Trail is a recently established, groomed trail system that crisscrosses portions of three mountain ranges, the Wind River, Gros Ventre and Absaroka Mountains. The trail consists of backcountry trails, lookouts and loops offering high-country vistas at every bend and stop on the way. The adventure begins in Jackson where guests are fitted with clothing prior to a 20 mile van ride through a portion of Grand Teton National Park to the Gros Ventre River drainage and the trailhead. This is still the old west with large ranches covering thousands of acres and unsurpassed vistas in every direction. After hitting the trail we travel up the Gros Ventre river passing along the way several State administered Elk feed grounds. After lunch at a local guest ranch we ride the local trails reaching elevations in excess of 10,000 feet. The end of the day finds you relaxing at a local guest ranch enjoying a home cooked meal and warm bed. Day two includes a spectacular ride up and over Union Pass, route of the mountain men and where you cross the Continental Divide. Numerous open meadows provide ample area to test your riding skills and work up an appetite for the lunch that awaits along the trail at a guest ranch. The afternoon includes Divide Overlook where three mountain ranges are visible. Tonight's lodging is at another local guest ranch. Day three we ride up spectacular Lava Mountain to an elevation of 10,500 feet. After lunch we explore the Togwotee Pass area which receives in excess of 500 inches of snow per year. The adventure ends at the Gros Ventre trailhead and a van ride back to Jackson.
