Our stay at Heart 6 in five beautiful cabins was just perfect. Marlin was our personal concierge and went way out of his way to insure that we had a 5 star experience. We will probably make this an annual event with 20-30 family members next September... Richard Lipsey Jacksonville, FL |

Dear Heart Six Staff,
As we write this less than 24 hours removed from driving off the grounds of your ranch, and thus putting an end to OUR BEST VACATION EVER (!!!), we sitll can't shake the feeling that is "I just experienced something magical." Your outfit, simply put stands above and beyond any vacation we've ever had; and it had as much to do with the incredibly personal and genuine interaction between your staff and guests as it did the mind numbing views, tranquil horseback rides, calming float trip, serene fishing, or over-the-top delicious meals. The high quality activities which comprised the Heart Six program greatly exceeded our wildest expectations. However, these activities paled in comparison to the positive impression left upon us by your "high quality" staff. Because your staff somehow trumped all the fun and peacefulness found in the best getaways, we can not imagine there being a better packaged vacation. Thanks to everyone who made our stay so amazing, who provided memories that will last a lifetime. Wranglers Big Jon, Bernie, Andrew, Caroline, Mitch...jack-of-all-trades Casey... Meredith, Cheryl and Joy at the front desk...Kitchen Staff Darwin, Gabe, Sarah, Tiffani...Ranch-Hands Myles, Jimmy, Zach, Maggie, and the rest of the crew... everyone was so kind, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and mindful of making our stay one that never strayed from "sun up to sundown fun." Jesse, you have assembled a truly great group of people to help operate your ranch! We will toot the Heart Six horn whenever we can, as will the rest of our family. Anyone looking for a week of true vacation from the rest of this far too busy world we live in should give you a call and sign on pronto! Thanks, again... just retelling tales from our stay makes us smile...and others envious. Hope to see you again soon. Yours truly, The Warfield's Manhattan Beach, CA |

Heart Six Gang:
My family and I first visited the Heart Six Ranch in the summer of 2005, and what a remarkable experience. We had such a wonderful time, we decided to come back this year. We could not begin to imagine how such a trip could get any better. After visiting this summer, we must say WOW! This truly is a remarkable place. Everyone at the ranch makes the quest feel as if they spend each day with you. Each staff member was such a pleasure to be around and the hospitality is second to none. There are more activities to choose from than there is time to do them all. Horseback riding, fly fishing, float trips, a visit to town, Jackson Hole Rodeo, archery, visit to Yellowstone, ranch rodeo, there is something for everyone. My son and I hunt and fish together quite often and I must say the wilderness fishing trip to Divide Lake is one of the most spectacular outdoor activities we have ever done. Just simply breath taking. If you are a person that struggles with trying to decide what to eat everyday, this chore does not exist at Heart Six. The food is outstanding. Darwin does a faboulous job preparing every meal. I think I gained seven pounds in one week! After visiting the ranch this summer, it is very obvious how much pride and dedication is taken by all to ensure a trip of a lifetime. If you are looking for a place to come and experience the wonders of the west, this is deinitely the place. Everyone at the Heart Six should be very proud. Thank you all for a lifetime of memories, and we look forward to another visit in the future. Cid and Allison Dillard Baton Rouge, LA |

To the Heart Six
First, I want to say our family's vacation at the Heart Six Ranch this year goes down as our best family vacation Ever (and we've had alot of amazing ones). For starters, every worker and wrangler was so unbelievably kind, friendly, and helpful. The helpers in the food service area were happy and attentive, and by day 2 they were automatically bringing me a pitcher of tap water (we're from Southern Cailfonia and our tap water is less than stellar) because they rembered from the fisrt day. Your cabins were adorable and spacious, the lodge was cute and homey-feeling, and the views were phenomenal. The horses were always tacked and ready to go, and there were plenty of fun, talented, and knowledgeable wranglers to lead us to any of the many different (and scenic) trails available (and we were definitely impressed with just how many different and scenic trails there were). And speaking of trails, every one was beautiful and interesting, and of course, it doesn't hurt that most if not every trail has some amazing view of the Teton Mountains. And I can't forget the close-up picture I got of the deer on one of our first trails which I will attach. In addition, all of the activities available were creative and interesting to so may different ages. Paintball, tomahawk throwing, archery, roping, fly fishing, 1 or 2 hour trail rides twice a day, an all day ride, a 1/2 day ride, a sunset cookout and ride, the rodeo, the "in ranch" rodeo, a float trip down the Snake River, a tour of Yellowstone - it was so amazing. And the fact that everything offered was included in the original price, so there were no hidden costs when we got there. But, perhaps the most noteworthy thing about your ranch was that we had a choice to try everything, nothing, or just some of the things. There was no pressure to "do it all." Yet , you offered repeat activities on various days, so there was no stress of "If I do this activity, then I can't do that one". And , it was thoughtful and completely unexpected that you provided sack lunches if any activity we were doing was happening during lunch hour. Further, your guitar player and singer the evening of the cookout was fun, entertaining and downright great (and, I learned the difference betweeen country music and cowboy music) I love the fact that the wranglers and workers were incorporated in to eating with the guests, as it's nice to get to talk with them after having ridden with them and playing with throughout the day. The western band you had was fun entertaining and great as well. Finally and perhaps the most important and relaxing thing aobut our stay at The Heart Six Ranch, was that it felt like an old-fashioned family vacation - you know, the kind where the family hung together (and sometimes didn't), but it was safe and fun. Being a mother of 2 young kids, there is not a day that goes by where I don't have a concern for the safety of our children. However, our one week at your ranch honestly provided me one week of having no concern whatsoever of the security of our kids(even when I had no idea where they were off playing). I absolutely with out question knew that they were safe from danger and strangers. There was one moment when I asked my husband (who was with my daugehter) if he knew where our son was. He didn't so I calmly checked to see if he was in the main lodge playing pool. He wasn't, but there was not one moment of "freak out", when I didn't find him. Instead I calmly thought, "Well right now there is tomahawk throwing. He did not get his name signed up on the list, but a friend he had met did. So, I think I will just climb up the hill and see if he is there." I climbed up the hill, and sure enough, there he was with a group of tomahawk throwers. No matter what, I knew he was in good hands, so I was able to relax and enjoy every moment of every day. Thanks again for absolutely everything - the experience our family had together at Heart Six Ranch will always be remembered, and it will be hard to beat as our "best family vacation ever!" Have a great day! Take care, Keith, Debbie, Shane & Mikaila Baumel (Southern California) |

Dear Friends,
I cannot begin to express my thanks for making our vacation dreams a reality. From the first email to the last goodbye at Buffalo Valley Ranch Cafe, your staff and facilites were fantastic. I can't begin to name all of the people that I spoke with via email, the phone, and in person as well, but each and everyone was so kind, cheerful and helpful, right down to the manager Jessie, who knew us by name. We must have driven you crazy. You knew exactly what we were looking for in our personal all day ride. That brings me to the cudos for our wrangler, Zack. What an interesting and fun young man. His knowledge of everything around us on our ride was amazing. We love to learn! He was exactly the kind of guy we asked for, and our ride was like no other experience we have had on horseback. Nothing like blazing your own trail straight up a mountain just to see what is over the ridge. Even my horse was exactly down to my specifications. I loved Ambrosia. I have a picture of the two of us up on a mountain that is now my screen saver... I would love to have brought her home. My husbansd enjoyed Scotch, we got a great kickout of that since it is his "drink" of choice. Even though horses are our thing, the next day's float trip which included my sister and her boyfriend with Josh down the Snake was a blast... literally (he soaked us at the end.) We saw beautiful scenery, wildlife that according to Josh he rarely sees, and felt like we were with and old friend by the time the trip was over. Our 2 day adventure was capped off with a great breakfast at the Buffalo Valley Ranch Cafe' and some shopping at the gift shop at the Ranch. All too soon it was over. We spent a total of 7 days in Jackson, Tetons, Yellowstone, Big Sky, and Idaho doing all the sights we could do that are awe inspiring and beautiful, but at the end, Ralph and I said that if we coud do only one thing it would be to come back to your ranch and stay with you guys for a week. Thank you for your kindness, your willingness to accomodate even the smallest request and for making our vacation one we will remember with joy and laughter forever. We will come back with our kids someday. May God bless all of you and those lives you touch! You certainly touched ours... Sincerely, Ralph and Suzie Terry Decatur, AL |

Brian and Millie,
Linda and I, along with Linda's sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Ray Stella had a wonderful time at the ranch last week. It is very generous and gracious of you to donate the trip to St. Michael High School. We have pictures and stories to tell at the next auction and will always make sure the trip raises the money it deserves. Your management and staff have GREAT ATTITUDES and do a wonderful job catering to the guests. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The horseback riding, the food, the accomodations, the guest speakers, the enterainment, the trip to town, the float trip, the ranch rodeo, and mass at the chapel on Lake Jackson will be great memories for us. We look forward to going to the ranch again. Linda and I thank you for your generosity and look forward to visiting with you soon. Sincerely, Eddie Rispone Baton Rouge, LA |

Heart Six Staff,
We wanted to express our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful, staff at the Heart 6 Guest Ranch for the terrific time we had last week. From the care of the youg girls who swam, colored, played, and rode with Jenna (Beth & Ashley) to the patience of Dan in teaching Michael and I how to fly fish (and the wonderful ride he and I had back to Divide Lake - it is not every day you see a Grizzly Bear!), to the float trip with Miles, another fantastic ride with Zach (best ride I've ever taken), paint ball games, rodeos, riding, evening shows and just plain fun. Your staff was amazingly accommodating - even for those who kept changing thier minds about what we wanted to do (me). We've had some wonderful vacations, but none can compare to the great time and wonderful memories we have from the Heart 6 Ranch. I can't say enough and will be telling all our friends about the wonderful time we had at Heart 6. With the backdrop of the beautiful Tetons and Jackson Hole area and the ranch itself, horses and everything a guest ranch can be, we attribute much of our enjoyment to the organization, management and staff selection of you and Jesse. It all came together at Heart 6 !!! We hope to return to Heart 6 in about 5 years to build upon the family memories of a wonderful week in June of 2007. Please keep in touch and let us know how folks are doing. Thank you for helping to make our vacation spectacular. We have numerous photos of your staff (mostly helping our family) and wonder if they would like copies... I'll try to get a package together in the next couple weeks and will send it along. Pat & Barbara Getz Folsom, CA |

Heart Six Staff,
A couple of weeks ago (6/11-6/17) I brought my family to the Heart Six Ranch for a unique vacation and an introduction to the West, particularly the great state of Wyoming. I would like to comment on my experience at Heart Six Ranch. Perhaps using an expression from Rebecca, your head wrangler, would be most appropriate: FANTASTIC!!!! That sums it up in a nut shell. I had four teenagers with me, hard to please teenagers, mind you and they can't stop talking about you guys and thier experience at Heart Six. Several of our party were good riders and wanted something more than walking in line through the forests. You, Karen & Jesse, without hesitation assigned Zach to take them on a fast ride, not once but twice. The kids (all of them with above average riding experience) and my daughter, Wendy loved it. Your crew evaluated their riding capability and gave them what they wanted within their riding abilities. Thank you so very much. Tiffany, my grand daughter, is into looking good and not really an outside type of girl. Well, Dan changed that with a couple of fly fishing lessons on the lawn and a trip to Divide Lake. She's hooked on horses and fly fishing! In addition, my stepkids, David and Alyssa, want to improve their equestrian skills. Do you see what you folks have started? I have a grand daughter who wants to fish and ride, and two step kids who want horses and riding lessons. All with a very strong desire to come back to Heart Six next summer. Heck, I'm a retired teacher and now I have to go back to work...full time... to afford all of this! At least they are all involved in a wholesome, clean activity and that is what really counts. Again, I thank you so very much for providing a truly wonderful vacation that exceeded all of our expectations. All of your staff were wonderful. We all hope to return next year. Sincerely, Pete Smith, the Spencers, and the McConnaugheys |

Heart Six Staff,
I spoke withe my client, Pete Smith, on Monday night after his return from Jackson Hole, and his stay at the Heart Six Ranch. I wanted to take a moment to write you and the entire staff at Heart Six in regard to our conversation. Please share my comments with the staff at Heart Six. First let me say I strive to place my clients in properties that I feel will provide a high level of personalized customer service, and I take time in choosing properties for that reason. I did quite a bit of research when looking at a guest ranch for Pete and his family. I felt very good about the Heart Six in the beginning and encouraged Pete to consider it above another ranch he looked at. After speaking to Pete, I can tell you that I am glad that he did, and so is he. When I talked to Pete, he started off the conversation with "the ranch wasn't good" which just about took my breath away as you might imagine.. but he immediately continued and said, "no it wasn't good, but it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!" After my heart had a moment to start beating again, we continued our conversation and Pete told me that he counted his stay at the Heart Six Ranch as one of the top 3 vacations he has ever taken! He was very impressed with the smooth operation of the programs, the friendly customer oreinted staff, the food, the horses, the cabin - in fact everything! He told me about how the staff went out of their way to make things enjoyable for all ages and made horse back riding a fun time for those in his family who were seasoned riders as well as those who were not. He talked about how there was a paint ball session that didn't have quite enough participants, so some of the staff went down and played - Pete said he could hear a lot of hollering and laughing going on down there, and that his kids came back painted and bruised and begging for more! He talked about the trip to Yellowstone and how the guides were knowledgeable and full of interesting information and how pleasantly surprised he was by the wonderful lunch that was prepared for the group that day. There were many stories Pete told me about that made it clear to me what a wonderful time he had. He told me that I should most definitely recommend the ranch to all of my clients, because he felt the level of service was superior without being solicitous. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed their time at the Heart Six Ranch and came away feeling excited about a return visit in the future. In fact, Pete is pretty sure he wants to move to Wyoming now! So I would like to say a big thank you to the entire staff at Heart Six Ranch for taking such good care of my client and his family. You all made them feel "at home" and helped them walk away with wonderful memories that will last for a very long time! This is exactly the type of feeling I want all of my clients to walk away with from their vacations. It is certainly going to be my pleasure to recommend the Heart Six Ranch to all of my clients in the future! Sincerely, Dale Rogers Owner Pizazz Travel Oviedo, FL |

Heart Six, Thank you and the entire staff for an outstanding week. After we left the Heart Six, we went to another Guest Ranch that did not compare to the professionalism and the hospitality your ranch offered. We feel so fortunate to have found you guys and we appreciate our memory making week. Since being back in Florida, we have told so many people of our great experience, and we are confident you will have many Floridians visiting you next year. We are beginning to plan our own trip to visit you again next year, and I think we are bringing more people with us. I hope all is well with you and your family as well as all of your staff. Thank you again for a great time. Traci, Ty, Zachary, and Hannah Chivers Jupiter, FL |

Heart 6 Ranch Crew, I wanted to let you know what a memorable experience my elk hunt was for me this year. I had a ball!! The whole experience was totally fantastic, one that I will never forget! I especially enjoyed the stalk Kieth and I executed on the first day of the hunt in the south fork of Lightning Creek, on a large bull with a herd of twenty cows that would have ended with a shot had not Mother Nature played games with the wind at the last minute. Another highlight was on the second day of the hunt when Kieth called in the six by six bull that I harvested after I passed on a five by five in the same canyon earlier. And finally, I especially enjoyed riding the fine horses you supplied for us. Smiley is my favorite, he has more heart and trail sense than any horse I have ever ridden. The herd was like something right out of Lonesome Dove. I have included a jar of our very own blackberry syrup from our ranch kitchen, here on the Oregon Coast. I hope you and the crew will enjoy it on some delicious cinnamon French toast like the kind Rebecca made for us at the Upper Camp. Or pour it over cheesecake like we did at our daughter's wedding earlier this year. Just skim the seeds off the top if you don't like it with the seeds. Also enclosed are a few of the pictures I got during the trip. Best Regards, Pul Chantiny |

Dear Mr. Harris, My husband an I have returned from a week's stay at the Ranch to which we brought an additional 13 family members ranging in age from 21 months to 43 years. (We are both seniors). The ranch was suggested to us by Maryanne Abrams of Star Travel whom we happened to have met when we were in Jackson last year.
We had a marvelous time, primarily because the staff under the leadership of Karen and Jesse was so amazingly accommodating. No request for milk or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, regardless of the time was denied. "Want to go to Yellowstone after the 6 am raft trip, we will try to arrange it", and they did.
The baby sitters were also great and "the twenty foot rule" certainly worked to make us feel welcome. Big John, Darwin, and Gabe, Cherly, the wranglers, the office staff, the activity staff - everyone was great.
I have no idea as to how you have incentivized Jesse and Karen to do such a wonderful job in hiring, and managing, but it is working. Very truly yours, Barbara Reynolds |

The Heart Six Ranch Absolutely fabulous! We have been to the Heart Six Ranch three times and cannot say enough about how wonderful it is. We look forward to going back the fourth time. The all inclusive package is great plus all of the additional activities that are included. The schedule is very flexible and the staff is always very accommodating. The view of the Tetons and the range are breath taking, cabins and rooms are great, delicious food, horseback riding, float trips, story teller, cowboy singer, Prickly Pair Trio, JH Rodeo, Jackson Hole trip, Yellowstone, picnics, hiking, Wrangler program, surprises and many other activties, or you can pick a spot to just rest and relax. Thank you to Jesse and Karen for the superior job they do in exceeding our expectations! Happy Trails until we see you again! Paula G. LeCates McDonough, GA |

Heart Six Staff, Tom and I wanted to get back to you sooner, but we have been very busy since returning home on Thursday, June 19th. After leaving your ranch, we went down to "Jackson Hole" for a few days. We had a great time. We went to New York City, after returning home, and just returned back home on Monday, June 29th. We wanted you to know, we had a marvelous time at your ranch, the room and the food was wonderful. Your chef was so pleasant. The entertinment was great, your Lodge is beautiful, and all of your staff was awsome. They were so kind, caring, and considerate. I loved the cold weather and snow. That is really what made it for me. It was the icing on the cake. I loved it.
Jesse and Karen, I can only speak very highly of the "Heart Six Ranch" and that you are the right people to run the "Heart Six Ranch". We left with loving memories. I am sorry that it did not last longer. We will certainly recommend the "Heart Six Ranch" to our friends... Regards, Tom & Gloria Dawn Lambert |
